A coastal home at Avalon Beach designed to dissolve the boundary between inside and the surrounding dune landscape. The project occupies a rare double-fronted site.

The plan is organised as a single east-west axis, from the entry courtyard through the living spaces to an elevated deck that cantilevers over the coastal scrub. Materials are salt-resistant: raw concrete, white-painted timber, and marine-grade stainless steel.

Interiors stay deliberately spare so the landscape remains the protagonist: limewashed timber, natural stone, and linen in the colours of the dune. Openings are placed for the prevailing breeze, and the house is designed to be lived in barefoot.
